Fics like 50 first dates

The guy grins and walks up to Henry. He sticks his hand in Henry’s face for a fist bump and says, “Hey bro, it’s Vincent. We went on a date here the other week.” “Err—right,” Henry says, looking awkward. “Can I help you with something, Vincent?” “I’m here to shoot my shot again,” Vincent says confidently. “I just feel like we really could’ve connected if—” Which is when Alex slides his chair over, slings an arm around the back of Henry’s seat and says, “Sorry, bro, but he’s already taken.” - In which the hot guy at the coffee shop keeps bringing all his first dates there when Alex is just trying to study. His name, not that Alex is eavesdropping (much), is Henry. Henry likes dogs and his tea with a splash of Jane Eyre and honestly Alex would make a way better first date for him than all those other guys combined. When one of Henry’s old dates shows up uninvited, Alex is only too happy to prove his point.
