The report card was more a formality than anything, something that parents could proudly affix to the fridge or show off to their relatives. Given that Anya still ranked in the bottom third of her class, Twilight wouldn’t be showing it off to anyone. Curiously, the first thing he noticed when he opened the envelope was the handwritten note clipped to the actual report card. Mr. and Mrs. Forger— The nature of a report card causes many parents to focus on numbers and percentiles. But numbers alone paint an insufficient picture of all the richness of a child’s mind and potential. This is especially true for your daughter. ----- As the Forgers celebrate Anya's first report card and Yuri rains on the parade, Twilight is forced to confront just how protective he's become of his cover family.
