Fics like Rising Tides

As Tim is beginning to settle into life in Blüdhaven, going back to school, and assisting with patrol in the evening. Thing finally feel some kind of normal. Then he get news that his parents are out on bail and want to see him again. Darla makes a face at the reminder, “Ugh, don’t remind me traitor, moving to Blüdhaven! How could you!” “I don’t think he had much say in the matter.” Bernard joins them on the way to class, “Ives is sick by the way, I don’t know if you saw the group chat already.” “I haven’t.” Tim confirms, he’d fallen asleep pretty quickly in the car and hadn’t checked the chat that morning. “Is it just a cold or?” “Just a cold.” Bernard states. “He’s okay.” “Good.” Tim quickly side steps a couple boys racing down the halls. “Did you hear the news yet?” Darla asks, “Your parents made bail.” Tim nods, Dick had told him as soon as he’d gotten the news. “Yeah I’ve known for a couple days.” “What happens now?” Bernard asks. “Like do you go back? Are you going to have to see them?” “I’m not going back.” Tim states, his pulse speeding up at the thought.
