Fics like In Honorable Fashion

It had been two years since the end of the Kira case, plus another year it took Quillsh Wammy to find a suitable individual with promising qualities that could maybe one day take over the role he had in L’s life as Watari, which was to say, someone who would be a caretaker, a protector, a right hand, a human connection that grounded the detective, but more importantly a person that had no attachments in this world that could get between them and their duty to L. Someone whose loyalty to the greatest detective in the world would be absolute. ═════ Taking place after the original story, where L survives. A woman meant to one day take on Watari's role comes into the picture. The type of woman that, according to most writers and poets, can make or break men. She affects the detective in unprecedented ways.
