Fics like Death, Taxes, and Skywalker Absurdity

In this world, nothing can be said to be certain except … Or: Mara Jade arrives on Yavin IV expecting to discuss Jedi training, not to find Leia Organa on the brink of murdering her brother over tax forms. What follows: one (1) Jedi feigning financial illiteracy for the bit, one (1) ex-Imperial assassin drafted into explaining basic economics, and one (1) senator armed with wine and righteous fury. Also featuring: “Luke Middle Name Skywalker,” the audacity of the water cubit argument, and a brief exploration of how the most powerful Jedi in the galaxy became terrifyingly good at weaponizing sincerity.
