Harry takes a determined step forward, but Kim’s palm is already in the middle of his chest, stopping him. “Rules, officer.” Kim says in his sternest voice, and Harry bows his head like a begging dog. “I’ll be so good,” he promises. “I’m sure.” Kim takes a long breath. This is probably a mistake, but then, maybe it would be nice to live a little. “This is a Mesque-themed place. Behind the curtain is the dance floor, which also features a mechanical bull. People challenge themselves into staying on it as long as possible, often in ridiculous or skimpy outfits. There is a gallery with railings all around the room on the second level that gives great khm…observation spots. Now,” Kim lifts his index finger in the air, severe. “No touching of any kind. People will probably rub on you, but I want you to keep your hands on your drinks for tonight.” He lifts his other fingers in time with the commands he is laying down. “No hollering, no bellowing, no drooling.” It’s good that there are no more fingers to raise, because Kim is overtaken with the urge of adding, *no barking*, which would be insane, and yet feels necessary to specify somehow. “That’s a lot of rules,” Harry grumbles.
