Fics like Mr. L - The Master Thief

New Donk City is said to be a peaceful, bustling city. At least… that’s what all the brochures and politicians want you to believe. In actuality, it had quite the seedy underbelly with many crimes being committed right under the populace’s noses and by some of the highest members of society too! Unfortunately for those ‘upper crusts’, one man is on a mission to bring them down, even if he has to stand against the law. Luigi Mario is a mild-mannered handyman by day - but by night, he dawns a dark mask to become the city’s most infamous phantom thief, Mr L! With help from his small team of friends, he’ll steal from the rich and expose them of their criminal activity. But juggling his personal life and phantom thief life is bound to be tricky, especially when he’s on the run from the entire New Donk bourgeois, his police sergeant brother, and a big nosy tartaruga reporter who is determined to discover Mr. L’s true identity. Will Mr. L save his city from the clutches of manipulation, or will Luigi crack under the pressure of indescribable danger… and blooming romance? {updates infrequent - for now}
