Fics like Mechanical Difficulties

Even if half the assertions made by the crew are complete nonsense, Torse can’t help but ponder over Marya’s offhand comments. “Everyone gets cabin fever on a long voyage eventually! But really, if anyone needs to get laid, it’s Maxwell.” Admittedly, Torse is still on shaky ground when it comes to understanding Gathie biology. What if Marya’s comment points to a more serious issue? Does sex fall into the same category as food and water and sleep? Do Gathies get sick if they go too long without sex? This ‘cabin fever’ that Marya spoke of? He’s starting to get slightly concerned for Maxwell’s wellbeing. — In which Scrapsylvanians love colloquialisms, Zern doesn’t have them, and Marya unknowingly becomes the captain of an entirely different ship.
