His wife Elaine can spot exactly what's wrong but the situation is awkward for everyone involved. He's dreading Jenna's departure from the show and he's realising why, but its too late to do anything. So Jenna and Peter part ways, but when they come across one another again at a charity event their feelings for one another are rekindled, that's if they ever died. It's a mess for all involved trying to work out what should happen for the best.
