Fics like I know it's over (still I cling)

Mikey's life was supposed to be good, but as he lay awake at night with his own hands touching his body he wished it was someone else. With Alicia gone maybe he could get Pete to take her place. To take his rightful place beside him in bed. "The evening was warm for autumn. The sun was setting as Mikey laid sprawled across his bed, alone again. The lights were off and he was completely nude besides his boxers which were tight against his crotch. The sight wasn't unusual lately. On the contrary it seemed to happen quite often nowadays. His mind would wander as did his hands down his body. Cold, thin fingers trailing the sides of his waist working down to his hips and inner thighs. He threw his head back and let out a soft sob into the hot air of his bedroom. There was no worry about being heard for he was completely and utterly alone." lightly inspired by the lovely kafkabugs on Twitter (and on here)
