Fics like artificial grace

Chuuya’s ears drowned out Kouyou’s voice as his gaze travelled back over to the figure on the ice. Dazai. Dazai Osamu. He’d heard his name endless times- he was supposedly a prodigy, already snatching the title of Junior Grand Prix winner at 13 and 14. Everyone predicted he would this year, at 15, do the same. However, from what he saw online, this Dazai seemed to be more annoying than anything. He always avoided cameras, vaguely answered questions, and was cocky, too. Chuuya observed him. Dark chestnut colored curls bounced as Dazai circled around the rink, wearing a dark hoodie and a bored expression. Bored. And then, he looked up. His eyes clearly met Chuuya’s, and before he could tear his gaze away, Dazai launched into a triple axel. Taking off on one foot, his arms went up to his chest, and landed away from him, skating away. Perfect. Jesus, now he was more annoying. He was really good. “Chuuya.” His eyes snapped back, meeting Kouyou’s. “It’s best you don’t involve yourself too much with that boy. He’s troubled.” Chuuya’s eyebrow raised at that. Huh.
