"Why are you speaking to me now, after two weeks?" In-ho asked, suspicious. The omega before him finally took a bite of the food, chewing slowly. His scent grew thicker in what must've been a good sign that he liked it. That he didn't think it was poisonous. "I don't want to be afraid of you anymore," he admitted with a tentative gaze. There was something vulnerable to his answer, something that had In-ho staring at him for a long, long time. He pulled his pistol out of his belts pocket and slid it over the table. The omegas eyes widened, and he made no move to grab it. "Next time I try to hurt you, shoot me," In-ho said, taking a sip of his whiskey. He was serious about it. He didn't want to end up like his father. It was a terrifying thought. * In-ho knew the manor like the insides of a Daewoo pistol; rugged and comforting, even if most days, he'd rather forget the memories associated with home. It was what he knew best. Until an omega with too many secrets stumbles into his life, and flips the order of his solitary life around.
