Taissa raised an eyebrow. “How do I know you?” The woman paused, something akin to flattery crossing her face. “Do you?” “Yes,” Taissa muttered, eyebrows creased like the act of not remembering was personally offensive. “You’re…” She trailed off, confusing herself further. “Rebecca Welton,” Jackie’s voice rang out. “You own AFC Richmond.” Rebecca blinked. “...Right. Well. As I was saying,” She said, eyes running over each of them in a way that made Nat bristle. “I’m…putting together a team—” “Justice League,” Van nodded immediately, receiving a sharp elbow to the side from Taissa. “A women’s team,” Rebecca corrected, still looking like she was caught between amusement and bewilderment (and, if Nat was honest, the woman looked a little intimidated). “And I was…hoping…that it would be…well, you all.” Or: The Yellowjackets win Nationals. Now, they have to brave a different wilderness: whatever the fuck compelled Rebecca Welton to haul their asses to England. At least it's not Canada!
