Fics like The Taste of Something Sweeter (Series 2)

"A burnt-out Police Chief and an overworked Neurosurgeon head out for coffee (separately). Cuteness ensues (not so separately)". After a hiatus, series 2 of 'The Taste of Something Sweeter' picks up exactly where we left our ladies. Follow along as Lin and Kya navigate a blossoming romance in their midlife years, trying to fit love around life as two incredibly powerful professional women with complicated emotional needs. If you want an 'easy-like-Sunday-morning' comfort story, with a side of emotional growth, the occasional sprinkling of angst, and some healthy dollops of spice, then you're in the right place - welcome! <3 Series 1 is heavily encouraged, but can be read as a stand alone story x
