Fics like one day I am gonna grow wings

Dear Anonymous, You don’t know me, but my name is Candace; you know my younger brother, Charlie. I didn’t know he was speaking with anyone, I don’t know your name or anything about you. It makes sense, though, that he’d want to talk to someone. I won’t lie to you, I feel a bit jealous he went to you instead of me, or Hell, even Chris. Charlie wouldn’t have wanted us to know he was getting bad again. What I know is that he was with Sam, and they were fooling around, when he got upset. Sam told me she didn’t want him driving like that, so he spent the night and said his goodbyes in the morning. When he got home, he called me, and I could tell he’d been crying. He was talking about our Aunt Helen, talking about how he killed her, before abruptly hanging up. I was at a friend’s house, and my parents were out with Chris, so I called the cops. An hour later we were called to the hospital. I’m sure, by now, you might have pieced together what happened, but if you haven’t, I’ll just tell you. You won’t be getting any more letters from Charlie. (Charlie killed himself. Candace writes.)
