Fics like Dragon's Blood

The Jormung: a legend the world wants to erase. Dragon-blooded warriors who forged bonds with the very creatures Vikings were raised to kill. Feared for it. Killed for it. Burned from history until nothing remained but ash. Now, only two survive—living in the shadows, hunted by every tribe, always looking over their shoulder. Astrid Hofferson: Berk’s finest. Dragon killer. Unyielding, disciplined, and deadly with an axe. Her life: built on fighting the dragon scourge that plagues the Archipelago. Why would she not take the chance to hunt a Jormung? The problem? One of those Jormung finds their way to Berk for reasons unknown to her. And he’s nothing like she expected. ---------- An AU where Hiccup is one of the last dragon-descended Jormung, and Astrid is the unfortunate soul who he's decided to take a liking to.
