Fics like To Be A Knight

What happens when the past is altered? Some things stay the same, while others are completely different. Some things are inevitable, like a script written in stone; some things change with the death of a mere fly. What happens when the inevitable...never happens? Contains spoilers for chapters 1, 2, and 3. My take on the new King's Quest if Achaka had survived the dragon's den, because hey, why not? S/O to ocean-soda on Tumblr for cheering me on about this, Lord knows I needed it. Find me on Tumblr as starbreather-the-shapeshifter (used to be midnight-mistress or something).
