Crack!fic — Frank wakes up de-aged to how he looked almost ten years ago. It’s as if someone has reached deep into the recesses of Gerard’s mind and extracted a living, breathing photograph directly from his memory. Frank still looks like himself but warped by some kind of time machine, aged backwards by nearly a decade overnight. Gerard remembers the uneven blonde and black mohawk from Chem’s early days, and a little more shockingly, he remembers when Frank’s skin looked this empty. So many of Frank’s favorite tattoos (as well as a good chunk of Gerard’s) are no longer there, and it’s so fucking eerie seeing Frank like this almost ten years after the fact, especially when just yesterday he looked like a fully grown adult and not like he should be stress-eating cereal in a dorm room.
