Fics like Sanity Is For Strangers

There was something Ikeno liked about Mano when he’d first seen him in the arena waiting for the game to start, knees tucked up sitting against the wall like a lost lamb heading for slaughter. But Ikeno could see behind his eyes it was an act, the way he watched the others, like a fox watching a rabbit, he had his curiosity piqued. There was nothing Ikeno liked more than a wolf in sheep’s clothes. And when Mano had looked at him as if he knew exactly what Ikeno was thinking it sealed it. Set a few days before “Zombie hunt” Ikeno and Mano are ready to face another game together, they’d survived this far and besides, what’s the point of the games if a few people don’t die. This is a canon divergence of season 3 featuring Ikeno and Mano except they don’t die during zombie hunt.
