Choi Yeonjun, a murderer, a serial killer, the country’s shame, were all his names, but never a desperate lover. That was because Yeonjun couldn’t tell anyone that Choi Soobin was the reason he’d gone on a mass murdering rampage across the country for four whole years. After disappearing into the woods and depression for three decades, he is brought back to society. Yeonjun becomes a tool, a political weapon, a rocket launcher, a way to impress. He’s utilised by Yang Jungwon and the rest of the Great Council in a desperate attempt to improve their country’s strength and reputation. To blend Yeonjun back into society smoothly isn’t possible, and it isn’t even Yeonjun’s wish to. But when he discovers someone who flips his situation like a coin, will he stay and fight for his country? Or will he do what he once did best, and refuse to take accountability for his foolish past actions? “Bin?” he hummed in response, “What happened? I thought you were dead”. He was quiet for a moment, still breathing into the top of my head. Then he spoke, in a low tone that tickled my brain, “It’s a lot. Could I tell you later? When things are calmer?” “Of course. I don 't mind”.
