Fics like A Matter of Chance

"The honour is all mine," a new voice says, and Beomgyu's spine stiffens with the realisation that this must be Soobin's voice. "I didn't want to break with tradition. I think an alpha should always fetch their omega from their family pack." *** As part of a peace treaty, a marriage is arranged between Soobin, king of Macai, and Beomgyu, a prince in the neighbouring country of Oscana. Desperate to see the alliance prosper, Beomgyu tries to play the part of the perfect omega. He knows he needs to be calm, demure, and obedient — all things he’s never managed to be before. Meanwhile, Soobin is grappling with how to fold Beomgyu into his pack, and with how subservient his new husband seems to be. He’s also feeling a little guilty that he wishes Beomgyu were just a bit more spirited… A Regency-esque, arranged marriage omegaverse AU.
