Fics like falling back into place

Change was something that Ralph had found himself acquainted with for quite some time now. --- After the island, the boys had been shipped off to different schools in a fleeting attempt to return to normalcy. Five years later, after the closing of many schools in the area, Jack and Ralph end up at the same one. A sequence of deaths follows the two, but they're convinced that it's not just coincidence. Something's wrong and unfortunately for them, working together might be the only option to bring the answer to light. (Or Jack and Ralph being emotionally constipated, awkward idiots too stupid to realize they're crushing hard on each other while playing detective.) we try to update as soon as possible !! this was written pre-lotf show, and therefore character appearances are based on the book + personal headcanons :)
