Eddie wakes up with someone’s arms wrapped around him. Which is very concerning because he went to bed alone last night, like he’s done every night for over a year now. He scrambles out of the bed, completely ungracefully, landing flat on his ass in a room that is unmistakably not his own. His heart hammers in his chest as he tries to make sense of it all in his just woken state. He peers over the mattress, to the person that was holding him, and he’s pretty sure his heart gives out all together. “Maddie?” She yawns from the bed, not opening her eyes, curling further into the pillow. “It’s too early, Howie, the alarm hasn’t gone off yet.” * Or, Eddie and Chimney accidentally swap bodies.
