Fics like Growing Pains, Metallic and Organic

After her father goes missing and she's kicked out of her home by Powell, Sari struggles with the transition of her former life to being under the care of the Autobots full time. The Autobots, too, are doing their best to juggle taking care of their little friend and protecting the city from the growing threat of the Decepticons. Somehow, they're able to make things work, but not without a lot of hiccups. Or; a series of slice-of-life missing scenes from Season 2 focused on the Autobots and their efforts to raise Sari in the interim of their search for Professor Sumdac. Chapter 1: Hair Brush Bumblebee didn't even know that organic hair could get that tangled or matted— In fairness to him, it wasn't as though he had ever seen an unkempt human before. Not that Sari was unkempt! She was just… going through a tough time. That's all.
