Fics like Mama and papa

"So, I think congratulations are in order," Lois greeted him when he arrived at the newsroom a full five minutes late. In his defense, he really really didn't want to get out of bed, and had watched ecstatically as the sun's rays illuminate Bruce's sleeping face. Clark was not an artist, but at that moment he had felt the need to have a pencil and paper in his hand to immortalize the moment. "Um... for what?" he asked, sitting down at his desk. She smiled at him – and wasn't it nice, to be able to see her smile without feeling that sharp pang in his chest? To be able to see her smile and be grateful that they were still friends? – and showed him the phone. Clark leaned forward, and flinched slightly. It was a photo, which was actually not very clear, of him, Batman and Robin. It was on a pseudo-journalistic blog, one of those where students in the journalism college began to write while waiting to work for a real newsroom. The title made him blush. On patrol with mama e papa.
