Fics like The Lost Ticket’s Workout Diary
The only human student at Tracen Academy keeps to herself and is resigned to being average at best. She feels every bit of baggage and failure acutely, a burden on her trainer sibling. Despite this, she’s not content to just sit around - she still thrashes against what feels like fate, struggling to improve herself. To hone her body and mind. To bring out the potential that she’s sure is there, buried deep within… All mile runs start with a single step. They continue when a kind hand that reaches out to offer to help you find the next step. And then finally, you cross the finish on your own. *** This is not intended to be a serious work. The main point of this fic is that I have no friends, but need a workout accountability buddy… so, I said “fuck it, we ball,” and decided that I might as well make my favorite Uma my workout buddy. So, this fic is basically a weekly workout accountability journal with a vague plot of some sort, but it’s not exactly a big effort production. If it inspires you? Yay! Why is Ryan my favorite? No reason, no idea - I just like her. The careers really inspired me, and helping others is lore accurate! Let’s see how long I can keep this up.
