Fics like Refurbishment

Agent Stone is a field agent, and a damn good one, until a mission gone sour leaves him with debilitating injuries. There's not much call for an agent who can't even hold a gun anymore, let alone use it. His career, and his life, are effectively over. Until Commander Walters gives him a new assignment. Doctor Robotnik is not a nice man. If he's not ignoring Stone, he's screaming at him. To him, all other humans are defective, and Stone's no different. Which, compared to the way all his doctors and higher-ups treat Stone now, is... oddly reassuring.
