Fics like The Gambler’s Floor Plan

Aventurine’s day off was supposed to be simple: silk robe, casino chips, and maybe a little gambling. Unfortunately, Ratio’s last lecture about “healthy choices” still rang in his ears, so instead of throwing money away, Aventurine decided to… redecorate. Armed with thousands of eBay-ordered chips and far too much free time, he sets out to cover his entire penthouse floor in a glittering casino mosaic. Halfway through, exhausted and sabotaged by the Catcakes, Aventurine realizes there’s only one solution: frame it as an emergency and drag Ratio out of his lecture to help. What follows is seven hours of chaos, chips, varnish, and banter because apparently, this is what passes for “domestic bliss” when you’re dating Aventurine. ----- Or, my pookies are being silly and domestic and I live for it <3
