Fics like The Promise

Set between The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and CA:BNW/Thunderbolts, this story explores an ever expanding series of mishaps and shenanigans resulting from Sam asking Bucky out on a first date. Is Bucky ready for said date? No. Is the Winter Soldier invited? No. Does he show up anyway? Hell, yes! This story ponders the mysteries of Bucky's mind, and the love a newly reawakened part of him has for Sam, who's struggling to maintain his optimism in the face of multiple kidnappings, abrupt protocol amendments, and unexpected interior decorating. Enjoy!
