Noel is decompressing alone at home for a week, but then Liam texts and suggests a slumber party, not that either of them really knows what that is. Liam just wants to be alone with Noel to ask for the last thing he needs from him—the thing that matters the most of all. “I just think it’s time, man.” “Time for what?” Liam shrugged carelessly, but his expression didn’t match. He looked at Noel gravely. “What the fuck do you think? Why does anyone invite themselves over to someone’s gaff well after dark?”
