He looks over at Buck; the dashboard of the Jeep and the moon in the sky cast a soft glow on his features. With a sidelong look, a sly little smile pulls at Buck’s lips. “Sounded like it mighta been a good one,” he teases, wagging his eyebrows. Halfway through their drive from El Paso to LA, Buck gives Eddie permission to let go.
