Fics like A Song from my Memory

“Hello? Is there anybody there? If you’re there, say something. Show yourself!” Thus do the voices of the mortals plead, ever hopeful of proof of our existence. For how long now have we watched over their realm? For how long have we Celestrians existed? *_*_*_*-*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_* “This should be the place.” Bumblebee uttered. "A cave?” Windblade questioned. “Seems so,” Bumblebee replied uncharacteristically dry. The yellow mech’s eyes fell from the cave entrance to the vibrant blue light pulsating from the cog in his servo. His brow ridges knitted together tightly as a ghostly hum emitted from it. Bumblebee still did not even have an inkling as to why he decided to follow and indulge the seemingly spontaneous request of the ghost the two of them had met in the village. Okay, he did know why. Despite that, it all felt both insignificant and inconsequential to Bumblebee and Windblade’s greater quest of stopping the Decepticon forces. And yet, when Bumblebee thought back to the specter’s pleading eyes, he could not help but feel as if, maybe, just maybe, this little excursion of theirs may hold greater significance than either of them could fathom.
