Fics like Getting Through, Getting There
“Goddamn, Cas, I really need your help!” “I can’t, Dean.” “You’re letting me down, now that Sam’s gone and Bobby’s mad at me for driving him away? Great, just great.” “I told you…” Dean doesn’t wait for the angel to finish his excuse. He is sick and tired of those anyway. Of this hollow shell of the Cas he thought he had gotten the hang of. This is what heaven spit back out? He won’t have it. He can’t! He needs his…he needs Cas back! This is early Cas, and freshly brainwashed by heaven, too. While Dean is desperate to find Sam, who is back at drinking demon blood. That's where the story begins.
