Fics like Through Fire

John Watson is a doctor at the hospital Sherlock keeps ending up in because of his drug problems and abusive boyfriend. They become friends and eventually something more. This work was written first because I love Johnlock and I think that no matter where John appeared in Sherlock's life, they would have had the same chemistry and same connection. The second reason I wrote this fic was because I just can't get over the line in HLV when Mycroft says "Look what happened to the last one." (referencing his other brother) and plot bunnies have abounded in my head since.
