Fics like It Eats You Up Inside

"Daaaaaaak." Still, silence remains. Tense, of course, but still—nothing is said. Dakkar won't break it. His back is turned, revealing nothing. Any reaction at all is exactly what he wants, after all, so Dakkar's trying not to give it. "Dak." Dakkar just reaches for a screwdriver instead of acknowledging the voice. He has heard nearly every variation of his name possible, and it is truly starting to dig at him. This has been going on for nearly fifteen minutes. A irritated sigh resounds through the grotto. "You know, it's impolite to ignore a guest. You've got me stuck here—the least you could do is entertain me! You'd think that royalty would know basic manners." The voice dips low, cruelty lurking just beneath. "But I suppose you've always come up…lacking in so many of those regards, haven't you?" OR Dakkar has trapped Kal in his grotto, after a stealth mission Kal failed at resulted in him being caught. This is not nearly as much of a relief as one would think, because Kal is...Kal.
