Fics like Every Inch of You

“This is a love story.” | “This is a detective story.” When Clark Kent follows a lead into Gotham, he doesn’t expect to find himself face-to-face with the city’s true guardian: a bat with fangs, claws, and a half-feral silhouette in the dark. Suspicious, circling him like prey, Batman tests every ounce of Clark’s resolve - only for Clark’s soft, fumbling devotion to slip through anyway (“What the hay, are those fangs?”). Between the silk shawls and champagne smiles of Bruce Wayne, Gotham’s pretty boy prince, and the blood-hungry shadow of the Bat, Clark finds himself caught between two men - one golden, one monstrous - and falling for both. Too earnest, too desperate, too willing to kneel if it means being near him. Or: three ways Clark Kent breaks Bruce Wayne’s walls by humiliating himself, by offering himself, and by never stopping.
