Fics like i'll be your record player baby if you know what i mean

Something important to note: Evan hadn’t interacted with anyone his age around town yet. Honestly, he hadn’t really talked to anyone his age since high school. He didn’t have any reason to. All this to say, it took Evan by surprise when he saw a man his age lounging behind a wooden counter at the front of the store, flip-flop clad feet kicked up on the desk in front of him, dark wavy hair tied up in a loose bun, leaning back in an old wooden chair and reading a book. And look, the problem wasn’t really that the person behind the counter was Evans age, the problem was that the person behind the counter was Evans age and also the coolest person Evan had ever seen in his life.
