Fics like Promises

A promise paid for in blood. A miracle born from agony. And a secret that could change everything. As Takeru and Hikari become the center of a new destiny, they and their friends face threats from every side. This war is far greater than they imagined, and they are beginning to realize that the battle is not simply between good and evil. When the line between protection and burden blurs, will their promise prove to be a blessing... or the very thing that makes them a burden to each other? The story of Digimon 02 but taking a different direction from the anime after Episode 13 (Dark Ocean) I think this is going to be a pretty long story, so everyone should stock up on coffee before diving in!
