Fics like Between Cities, Between Us

You never expected your ordinary night out to end in a chance encounter with Emily Armstrong, the newly minted frontwoman of Linkin Park. One moment you were just another fan at the bar, the next you were saving Emily from a medical emergency that no one else knew about. But what could’ve been a forgotten night turns into something else when Emily tracks you down. Messages turn into conversations, conversations into meetings: Paris balconies, speakeasy passwords, backstage passes. Emily, always under the glare of the spotlight, isn’t used to someone seeing her outside of the stage. You, with a steady job and a life in London, isn’t used to being pulled into the whirlwind of tours, interviews, and songs that sound suspiciously personal. What happens when their worlds, one stable, one relentless, keep colliding? A story of late-night trains, secret lyrics, and the kind of connection that refuses to be drowned out.
