Fics like Arachnofamilia

Virgil was a fairly solitary person outside of his tiny friends and the occasional necessary interaction with other fae beings, notably the ones with whom he traded his expertly woven and hand-dyed spider silk cloth. He generally avoided humans as a rule; why voluntarily put yourself among people who tended to shriek and yell and throw things or attack at the sight of you? But when a human kit barely old enough to walk stumbles through the webs around his clearing one cold winter morning, well, Virgil was hardly going to leave the poor thing to freeze to death. Now if only people would stop assuming he wanted to eat it! Or, Arachne!Virgil adopts a human toddler, much to the confusion of his faerie neighbors.
