Fics like The Jumper and The Bearer

Only God should have the power to be in all places at all times. Those are the words Beatrice’s adoptive mother and head of the ancient society known as the Paladins, created in mediaeval times to eradicate Jumpers, Suzanne Cox, has told her her whole life. But what are Jumpers? To put it in her adoptive mother’s words. They’re abominations. Sinful creatures who can teleport to any place there mind can remember. They warp the space around them to create wormholes from one location to another called 'jumpscars'. They can teleport people, cars, and buildings, though the latter of those normally results in a Jumper's death. Something Beatrice has become adept at making Jumpers be over her life. And the next Jumper, Ava, in Beatrice’s sights is no different.
