Alan remembers looking a man in the eye and seeing his own death approach. He doesn't remember dying, but he sure as hell remembers being dragged back into the land of the living. The world is a much more complicated place. Post Pianissimo, Expedition 33 try to put the world back together. Alan doesn't know what to do with himself when he's handed a future, especially when the man that had prematurely ended his life the first time keeps hanging around.
