Outside, people are probably wandering the streets while huddled in jackets to protect them from the morning chill. Or perhaps they’re sitting in cafés with mugs of steaming coffee to fight the cold, but right now, in this kitchen of their new apartment with the heater still in the stages of kicking in, Tooru feels warmer than anyone else. “You’re smiling,” Hajime observes. “So are you,” Tooru says back.
