Robby just knows when Jack’s hurting, when his chest is tighter and he can’t seem to take a deep breath that really relaxes. And Jack was so caught up in his head, in a loop of old worries and anxieties and tired narratives that he’s so used to hearing he didn’t stop to think that he has ways to deal with them now, and they haven’t really ruled his head for a long time. It’s just so damn loud in there sometimes, hard to think over it, hard to ignore, hard to break the loop. Robby breaks the loop for him.
