Fics like And They Were Uncles

Ben gently lowers him on the bed and moves to leave. Johnny makes a mortifying sound and shoots an arm out to hold him in place. “Johnny,” Ben whispers. “I’m gonna go get Reed, ok?” “Nooo…” Johnny whines. Even if it wouldn’t be absolutely mortifying for Reed to see him this way, he thinks he might die if Ben’s warmed-up skin doesn’t stay pressed to his neck. “He’ll make you feel better,” Ben insists.” “You feel better,” Johnny whispers. Ben stiffens then relaxes in his grasp. “Alright,” Ben sighs out. Johnny feels Ben’s weight settle next to him in bed. He sighs in contentment as Ben’s large hand settles gingerly onto his aching head. The combined pressure and heat is starting to ease the pounding. “But we’re getting you some painkillers first thing in the morning.” “You’re not my dad,” Johnny mumbles. He falls asleep to the rumble of Ben’s gentle chuckles. --- Or, a study in Johnny and Ben's queerplatonic relationship
