Fics like The Nature of Seduction

This grew out of several weeks of trying to express something that, to me, seems probable about at least some people's sexuality--and certainly of some versions of Mycroft's sexuality. It's an element that's often expressed in terms of sub and dom, or humiliation kink, or exhibitionism. However, I think often that only approximates what is going on. There's just something insanely erotic about knowing one is seen so intensely, and allowing it--encouraging it--giving in to the desire to be observed and desired. Within that context, you're invited to be amused by Lestrade's cleverness, and Mycroft's failure to avoid the key trap of his seduction.
