Fics like The Keys to the Kingdom Were Locked Inside the Kingdom

Raised in the pressure cooker of Kamino the clone troopers created to fight and to die built their own culture with loyalty as the central bedrock. When the first troopers leave Kamino the culture shock is immense. An education built upon durasteel facts leaves them ill-prepared for a galaxy that values the ephemeral and commanders who can do impossible things. And then Order 66 happens, and horrifically, unbelievably their leaders are traitors. And then, even worse, unbearably, almost a decade later, they are free and know, to the core of their souls, that they, rather than the Jedi, were traitors all. Or, alternatively: If you value loyalty above all, how do you cope with being forced to become traitors to yourselves and your leaders? If you were conditioned to have a cause, what happens when you destroy that cause? If you knew to your soul that only one other group cared about you, how do you react to a galaxy that betrayed them? If your brothers can countenance nothing else but that they are still with you, then why not support that faith? If the Force is the truth, then why not make it so that everyone follows it? (Saved in my drafts as The Religious Dystopia Fic)
