Fics like (But That's a) You Problem

“He's had 8 assistants in the last 5 years, Mr. Rahmani,” Luthra states, reading the metrics off of his computer and adding, with a roll of his eyes, “The last one didn’t even make it to his 90-day evaluation.” He looks at Khalid incredulously over the top of his screen. “I understand that it’s a difficult position, sir—” “Not the position, Khalid, the man,” Luthra corrects, pinching the bridge of his nose. He leans back in his office chair and sighs. “Kabir Dhaliwal is ambitious; he works long hours, he’s close with his team, he’s dedicated to his work, he does not allow mistakes. I respect him, as should you, but you have to understand that this is not my recommendation for you.” -------- RAW Industries' disgruntled and difficult Head of Strategy needs a new Assistant. Against all reason or recommendation, Khalid Rahmani applies and signs himself up for a new level of hell.
