Fics like I Thought You Were Dead

Daryl's been aimlessly walking back and forth outside the cellblocks all night, periodically checking on Carol to the point where she is starting to get really worried about him. She knows he must be a little shaken from her disappearance, but she can't understand why he seems so insistent on making sure why she's still there. She gets her answer in more of a heart-breaking way than she had expected. //or set in Season 3: Daryl breaks down in front of Carol after finding her in the prison, and she learns just how much he really cares about her.
