Sixty-five years later Fili is the bored, dutiful heir in Ered Luin while elsewhere Kili is simply trying to stay alive between alleyway brawls. Everything changes when they meet and a connection is formed which seems nigh unbreakable. At least until the truth of the past and their heritage is revealed.
